from Atlantic Canada!! These little cars are one of the best kept secrets around, and as I'm sure you'll soon realize, they have a strong following and are finally starting to come into their own. We'd love to see pictures!!
Thanks for the nice welcome everyone. I'm in Michigan and it has been a brutal winter, so I haven't got much done from the time that I bought it. It has some issues, does anyone know where you can buy interior panels and original seat covers?
Welcome from Ft Worth texas! I am not sure where you can buy those interior parts but i have been searching high and low for some also. There are plenty of ppl in the classified section selling parts though.
Winter was brutal in the Northeast too - at one time I had 5 foot snow drifts up against my garage doors - I just gave up trying to do anything to the car and just tried to stay warm and dry
Does anyone know if a 1969 mustang rear bumper and a 1973 maverick are the same? They look identical.
a 67/68 Mustang bumper will work if you drill different holes in the '73 bumper brackets. That's what's currently on my '73 2dr, it's not quite the same, but it does the job.
I just wanted to tell you guys, I got my 72 front bumper, bumper brackets, valence, and filler panel for my 73 MAV. I feel blessed.....Dave
I have another question folks. My seat track on the drivers side is bad. I looked into replacing through ebay NOS. By there books my 73 bucket seat car should have reclining seats, mine does not. but I would bet they are original. My car also has a complete console. Everything matches perfect. My 73 also has a dash tray, but should have a closed dash with glove box.???? I just love Fords mid year changes...Dave
