Cut the front of my passenger side rocker off to replace it, stuck my shop-vac nozzle way into the rocker and sucked out a large mouse nest - then the mouse :yikes:

1986 .... I had just taken my white Comet on a 500 mile roadtrip and it had sprung a rear main leak. I got it home and was underneath, wiping the drippy stuff off the back half of the chassis.

I had Lakewood traction bars on that car, and was wiping the passenger side one down. Got to the open end of the front of the bar and this big greasy clump of stuff was hanging out of it. I took the rag and grabbed it, and pulled ... what followed was fur, followed by maggots .... :yikes:

I slid out from under the car fast .... yech!!! Got out the garden hose and shot what was left in there out from behind.

It was then that I finally did recall clipping some roadkill on that trip. Probably a possum.

I was messing with my driver side door again and found these, duct-taped to the inside bottom edge of the door ...

Two chunks of wood. The rectangular one is about six inches long. My only guess is that the body shop that did the sketchy work on the car before I owned it, put them there for some reason and forgot about them. I am really surprised they weren't rattling around in there.

My buddy is working on a '65 Ford that his dad bought new. He found this cap gun behind the rear interior panel.

A guy I work with just bought a Jeep and as he was installing his sound system found a 22 pistol under the dash along with a spare 9 shot clip - all numbers filed off for some strange reason :hmmm:

I wonder if the woman that the implant belonged to isn't somewhere in the Nevada desert right now

I am going to be an optimist and suggest that the Jag owner was a breast implant sales rep or plastic surgeon.

I had a 76 Jag XJ12L .... actually it was the ex-wife's "I gotta have it " car in 1985. Found some paperwork and figured out that the original owner of that car was a Tampa councilman that was in jail at that time for zoning fraud. I'll bet that car could tell a few stories.

I was so happy when she demanded that POS car in the divorce ... it was truly awful.

Found really old gum packaging in the ash tray and then actual mushrooms growing in my carpet after a wet Oregon spring...

Bought a 73 Mach 1 at an insurance company salvage auction way back when. Found some 9mm rounds and a can of contraceptive foam under the front seat.

I live in Alberta in canada. And the maverick I rescued from an auto wrecker is originally sold and registered from drumhellar (where I live currently) which is pretty cool. But in the back under the tiny, little back seat I found a bunch of memorabilia for the chicken ranch in Las Vegas lol Idk if the place is still around but I thought it was a little different. :D
