    My dad just gave me rear end gears to put in my 9 inch and it comes it 32 spline axles is that good?

    1970 Maverick, 1937 Ford Tudor, 1962 F100
    Probably 31 spline. Stock Fords are 28 or 31 spline. Aftermarket stuff is also available in 35 or 40.

    31 spline is stronger but you have to use 31 spline axles with a 31 spline carrier.

    Just take your Dad's ring & pinion gears and use them in your existing center section that way your axles will still work :)
