What is a good floor shifter to get? I have a bench seat but want a floor shifter, so I'm wanting to get one that will work good with the bench seat. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just installed the Lokar floor shifter in my 71 Mav and so far i love it, it shifts smooth it easily clears the bench with the 12" shaft. It is a really tight squeeze in the transmission tunnel but i found it fit nicely with 0 rubbing.

When I had a C4 and a bench seat, I used a stock Mustang, '64-67 shifter. It is smaller than the Maverick shifter, and very easy to install. You may have to make a linkage rod, if you want it farther from the seat. Easy to customize. Plus, parts are easy to get through the Mustang houses. Hope it works out!
