I think its kind of odd and maybe I am missing something but I have been searching the internet for one and have not been able to find one. What am i missing here?

I have a 71 with a 170ci V6 .. just want to replace it with an original replacement. From its past life .. someone did a job on the plug and cant salvage it ..

Any help on a site or something ..

    thanks .. CC

Melvin's Classic Ford Parts in Conyers Ga sells them.
Check them out at melvinsclassicfordparts.com and click on the Maverick link on the right side of the page or download their catalog. You can also check Autokrafters to see if they sell them.

I haven't posted because I was trying to iron out some of the questions that I presented to the forum. I did find out that my console was not a factory implant, but was provided via a Bobcat. It fits nice and looks good so I'm staying with it because of the nice storage, clock and a arm rest. I'm switching out the 4:11 posi gears with 3:55's and staying with a new vinyl top, 72 front bumper, brackets, valence and filler panel. I will post pic''s...Dave

You have an inline six, not a v6.

I went through the same thing with some of my Cleveland parts being a bit more pricy than I expected :)
