I would like to say hello to everone, today I just brought home my 1971 4 door maverick 250cid with auto tranny. It had been sitting for over 2 years. It was olny about 45 miles away so I drove I home, lets say I made it. My questions.... I looked on ebay and salvage yards for a driver side fender, I found some used one going for $350.00 each! I think I will take it off and repair it, I also must have a new driver side head lamp beauty ring. Am I looking in the wrong places for parts or is it a search and destroy mission? Then I know the motor is a 250 the tranny is a auto but I do not know what one it is and the rear end, I told you I got questions, I just ordered the parts from summitt to replace the points and coil.

Like Frank (71gold) said, you have a C4 (3spd) Transmission and an 8-inch Rear Differential. The 5-lug axles will NOT interchange into the 4-lug rear axle housing due to different bearing dimensions.
