    Welcome from Northern California!:chirp:
Thank you for any help you can be to the Maverick/Comet community and you will probably sell a lot more(of anything) if you're willing to ship out of the country.

    Tim,
I have a damaged dash pad (1971) you can have. It has enough of the original shape, that you should be able to get measurements.
I also have non-speaker kick panels (1975), they are a little brittle. They are a little different than early models. The early models have more surface area do to the differences in the lower dash.

    Thanks for the interest.

This is great news, and shows that there is a growing interest in our cars. Thanks goes to Tim for stepping up and offering to help us out. I would be interested in a true replacement dash pad, rather than the cap. I inquired about getting mine "redone" at Justdashes.com, and was a bit disappointed that they wanted $450 + shipping both ways to "redo" my pad.

Even if people can find a non-cracked original dash pad, they still have 40+ year old vinly wrapped around them which is very prone to cracking.

I just checked out Tim's web-site. If the Maverick dash pads and kick panels can be done for anywhere close to what his other offerings are going for, they would be close, if not cheaper, than 40 year-old OEM stuff on e-Bay.

Dennis Carpenter has a large number of Ford factory molds for Mavericks parts, it would be a shame to invest the money into getting molds made, only to find out someone already has them. When I was there in April, we talked about how they are test running some of the molds, and trying to determine what would best fit the market.

just a idea? if Tim is only researching and can mold lower kick panels what is the chance of making the rear seat side panels as they take far more abuse from the sun. and would be far more demand?

Hello, I am sorry I have not read this for a while. It is possible that we could mold the rear panels. I will look into that. May take me a while to find a specimen to examine so be patient. Also Mike sent me a factory pair of 69-70 kick panels and they are very doable. I plan to begin those as soon as time permits. Thanks again for the input.
    Regards,
    Tim

The front kick panels are different from year to year. The year breaks are (the best I can recall):

    1970-1973
    1974-1975
    1976-1977
