i looked for a heater hose fitting but I cant find anything that looks the same. If this piece is more than one part could someone please give more info on it. It looks to me like it might be three separate parts. The square middle and then two parts that screw into that. I need them and dont know where to start because I dont know what they are called.

those are all NPT threads 3/8th if i remember. its a tee and spigots. nothing particularly special, you can use brass fittings to replace them, mccmaster carr is prob your best online non oem bet.

I tried looking on the site you said and cant find anything. The site is confusing to navigate and im not completely sure what to look for. I dont mean to be a bother but could you be more specific?

That's no doubt factory, has opening for the vacuum switch that was on the middish '70s models...

You are correct that it is 3 pieces. Each piece needs to be remove before you can unscrew the Tee from the head or the fittings will hit the cylinder head. When I went with a header on my 250, I had to use a straight pipe for header clearance. Do you live where they do emissions? If not then you can use a straight hose fitting and do away with the vacuum switch and vacuum hoses. In all probability the vacuum switch stopped working 30 something years ago anyway and its not doing any good now.
