I just had the car mini tubbed and am installing Calvert racing split mono leaf springs and Caltrac bars. I will be running some type of adjustable shock on the rear (undecided on which kind) but no they won't be coil overs.

Got her on the ground and went for a short ride. The floor mounted e brake rubbed on the driveshaft. I did get it where I wanted it ride height wise.

Sold off the C4 to a guy putting it in a Mustang, chopped off some old wiring, and started mocking up my lower dash

Got the brakes working, kind of. Pushed the car out of the garage and turned it around pushed it in backwards. Now when I get my engine back next week, I can put it together in front of the car and drop it in.

Oh and my "Monster" Transmission was delivered today.

I ordered a 12" classic Hurst shift handle with a white 5 spd knob... Shifter handles are pricey...

Took mine out for a two hour cruise yesterday. It felt good just to drive it.
Coop, Harold, John, Mike and myself (All forum members) are all taking our cars (3 Mavericks and 1 Comet)and going to a reunion car cruise for an old race track that closed down close to our area years ago this Wednesday night. I am looking forward to that. (y)
