Don't forget about the BMW Turbo-Diesel in the 85-86 Lincoln Mark VII's. Those only weigh a total of 445 pounds wet. And come with automatic overdrive (a ZF unit). That's the weight of a 250.

just got a couple boxes of parts so soon be time to get the running gear in and blast and pant it all.
what do yall think about not having power steering? the motor will be a fair bit heavier than the one that came in it but i kinda like the simplicity of nonpower car. what do yall think?
