Hello Group :Welcome:: Been a while since I posted, enjoying the summer, the Maverick, all the other toys :bananaman.....but I was doing a little work on the Maverick, some minor stuff and while underneath noticed that the frame and other components are showing some age-usage rust....nothing major, no rots but rust. Was going to go down to TPS...local restoration store and pick up some POR 15 and paint the bottom. Anybody out there use anything else than the POR, any other suggestions ....always good to ask.

I know Summit has it in stock over in Tallmadge. If TP is local to you, I assume you are in the Mahoning Valley. TP stocks POR.

You can also use Chassis Saver, which is a one step product.

I like POR 15, I've never had any issues with it.

That's what I used, no issues as of yet, and it's been a little over ten years.

I've used POR 15 on a number of other projects and this was my first "go - to" product, I simply thought I'd asked around and see what others have used - tried....but it probably will be the POR 15. Thanks for all the replies.......was going to work on / cruise this weekend but looks like rain is going to be an all day event.

POR-15 is the way to go.

Whatever you do, stay away from Eastwood products.
