So I am looking for a way to fix my hood latch. It no longer will latch down completel. Is there anywhere in can buy one other than ebay or how to fix my existing one? Because the ones on there are expensive and aren't worth that kind of money

I never seen a hood latch quit working. Not saying that they will never stop working. If it is not bent a good cleaning and greasing should have it working again if it is adjusted. I don't remember see a latch in my pile of extra parts but if I did have one I wouldn't be asking that much for it.

I have a few good latches. PM or email if you need one, but I haven't heard of one wearing out before.

The hood will pop up when I hit a bump, not all the way, but It won't stay all the way latched.

probably just needs an adjustment or cleaning as stated, doesnt sound like its locking all the way in. have you tried adjusting or cleaning it?

sounds like it needs an adjustment/cleaning...:yup:
I find it helpful to remove the grille when adjusting the latch. this way if it gets too tight you will be able to get to the bottom side of the latch to pop it open.

Okay maybe I went about it wrong... now it won't even lock down. So you can just pick it right back up. What should I be adjusting?

If it's not latching at all you need to move the latch down. If it latches but the hood still comes up a little then the latch needs to be moved up.
