Well some of you know that I have been working on a 64 Falcon 2 door station wagon, I have installed a 289 A code out of a 66 Mustang along with a top loader 4 speed, tubular a arms, disc brakes on all 4 corners and bucket seats that my wife is in the progress of making seat covers for, she also made a headliner for it because the one I ordered was far from fitting right.

Well I finally got a chance to paint it and it turned out pretty good for a garage paint job, it it a base coat clear coat job done with Omni paint (PPGs lower class line). Hope you like orange because thats the color

Super cool!!!! I used to have a 61 Falcon 2 dr wagon back in the late 60's. Wish I still had it. However I do have a 57 Ranchwagon.

Thanks everybody for the kind words, its sorta hard to open the garage door and see a bright orange Falcon instead of a blue Maverick but the Maverick will be coming home soon and get some more stuff done to it and it may take awhile to get it done so I needed a backup car besides I am just car crazy

Awesome Falcon, and extra cred for a wagon project (I got a thing for longroofs). Where did you get the 4-speed hump?....I need one for my Falcon Gasser

Well I was able to take my first cruise in Roadcone (the cars nickname) on my birthday and it was a joy to drive and all the thumbs up I got, it needs a front end alignment which will happen soon but felt good to be back in a stick shift car, with the 2.89 butt gears I figure it will be pretty good on mpg but who cares
