Hi Team, I have joined this forum last year, butnot actively participted on it. Job, kids, etc... I moe from Brazil to USA in Aug 2012 and started searching for a nice 71/72 Maverick Grabber V8, which I know ist hardest to find car in good condition. After making some friends in the area that I live ( Greenville -SC ) , I finally found a nice example, which in fact it is a special car. My car was featured on the Mustang&Fords magazine back in Jan 2006. You guy ca ready the article attached. Once I put my hands on this car, which was basically 6 years later of its restoration completion, car was still OK. So, I spent nice hours cleaning this up properly. Then, fixes very few rust bubbles on the lower rear fender, applied the stripes and touch up the steel wheels. So, now it is ready for the group to appreciate and track it. Another Maverick saved in hands of a die hard Maverick fan, which is me. By the way, I had already 2 nice 1974 Mavericks 302 GT back in Brazil ( those have te same nice bumpers as the American 71/2 Mavericks. I hope you guys enjoy as much as I do.
Love the car and have the issue of Mustangs and Fords More info on the car. http://mmb.maverick.to/threads/gsjohnsons-maverick-in-mustang-and-fords.19813/
Nice looking car, That is the twin to one of the ones I have, except that one has a 5.0 with fuel injection. I like the looks of the color keyed rims and poverty caps. Nice clean looking car.
