    I have been looking for a nice Maverick or Comet for my new venture. I have raced in Nostalgia Super Stock out of the Midwest for some time and recently sold my faithful and trusty 67 Fairlane. I decided that I wanted to go the Nostalgia Pro Stock route with a lighter car. I kept the Engine and trans from the Fairlane which is a 715 HP 427 Sideoiler and a Jerico DR4 trans. Well yesterday I purchased a slick 71 Comet that was local. It is a rust free California car, never wrecked and it is sitting in my Shop for the conversion process. I will be needing a few small items from the forum here and look forward to getting started!
