    Hi guys,

I am the proud owner of a 1963 Mercury Comet S22 Convertible.

Now I gave it to a mechanic and it had an accident there. I am looking for a good classic car body shop in Austin, TX, preferably one that knows how to handle Comets like mine.

    Thanks for any pointers :)

    Stan

Contact Doug Bauer. You can find he email address at www.MaverickCometClub.org . Click on "About Us"...then "Officers". He has had several cars painted and he is in the area and I am sure he can help.

shouldn't be too hard - it's all body - hopefully the frame is not bent, but I think it might be. steering might need attention.

it hurt when i went to the mechanic and saw my car like this:

I see no way that the frame is bent from these pictures.
