So while I was putting my shocks in I noticed one of my engine mount bolts that goes into the block had backed out about 3/4 of the way. So I went to check the other bolt. Gone! Tightened the one, checked the bolts on the other side. Here's my problem. The bolt hole with the missing bolt doesn't line up now. Its off by like 1/8" so I can't get the bolt in. Any way to fix that without having to mess with a lift?

Thanks I'll give that a shot. Can I use anything on those to keep them from backing out again so easy, like locktite ?

loctite will work. the original bolts are crimp type design. they have a triangle like shape vs being perfectly round. so if using normal type bolts, you definitely want to use loctite on the threads.

    • Like Frank said, loosen the bolts that are there first. If a pry bar does not work, use a floor jack under the oil pan. Place a wide chunk of 2x4 or plywood between the jack and the pan to spread out the load and not dent the pan.
