How to remove old tape adhesive

    On plastic on my van. Minimal spirits? Wd-40? Anything I should stay away from? It is on my wife's minivan Both plastic and metal. Thoughts?

    Goo gone, acrosol (sp), 3 adhesive remover. I've had good luck with all 3 of these products.

    Goof Off definitely removes adhesive, but it also removes paint. I wouldn't suggest it for this particular application.
