My code reader shows no codes, and half the time I can "clear" it, but sometimes, not, and the light stays on, forcing me to go to the dealer. They can clear it and make the light go away for a week or two.

Each time, nobody finds any codes.

Anybody here know anything about this?

It would sure be nice if it didn't pop up every week or three...

The only mopar mystery light that I know of is a co-worker's truck. His gas cap was not sealing properly. Wouldn't give a code, just the light would come on.

Possible bad Inst/cluster or PCM. Could be a short in the mil lamp ckt also. Issues like this (CEL on and no codes with CEL on) Tend to be one of the affore mentioned issues.

Purchased the extended bumper to bumper Chrysler warranty...when, if ever, will the dealer identify it and repair it? How many times do I need to take it in before they admit there is an issue?

Only once if they have a good diagnostic guy. Problem is, it will take time to find the issue, perhaps days and time is money for the dealership. They dont make much on warranty repairs.
