Howdy folks. Recently just picked up my 1970 maverick. Wanted something different than all the camaros, mustangs, novas, impalas, etc that are frequented to my local car shows and cruise - ins. The maverick has always had something special about it to me and decided to pick one up. Look forward to the knowledge and help from everyone and also to throw out whatever help I can. But for now here's a few pictures. 20141025_141004.jpg 20141025_140947.jpg

Welcome! I too was looking for something that stands out of the regular Camaro and Mustang crowd, that's why I chose a Maverick plus you can't go wrong with the fastback look without the Mustang fastback price.

That's a very nice looking Maverick! Yours looks like a 69.5/70 Grabber with that paint scheme. Any other mods besides 5 lug? Any under the hood or interior pics?

Yup. Forgot those. Lol. Under the hood is a 302 with a big cam (520 lift), gt40 heads, edelbrock 600 intake, holley 400 carb, 95 explorer serpentine setup, hedman headers. T5 transmission with an explorer 8.8 rear with 3.73 gears.

Interior still pretty much stock and painted black (was burgundy). Granada console with aftermarket gauges. Crappy auto parts shift knob until I find something I like.
