Build-up of the Comet FI project continues as the snow flies, inside the shop, engine is assembled and started right up on the run stand for cam/valvetrain break in. Small Block Six engine is a stock 250 block with the Head re worked with SBF springs, back cut valves etc, but no milling to retain 62cc chambers for a SCR around 7.81 with a modern composite head gasket. Cam is still OEM with Lunati lifters and adj. ' rockers. Liberal assembly lube, cam guard and oil pump priming before adding HEI ignition and the cooling accessories to fire it up.

    have fun
