the thing I have with AK is the..."backorder"...stuff. it's like you order a part and then they have it made...
The one piece headliner from tmi is abs plastic covered in Swede and gives the mustang guys two more inches of head room.. There actually three piece including the two sail panels... they are held in place using the window gaskets and side windlace...
on the mustang its best to have all the seats out.. It slides in on the narrow side and then turned once in the car...
the Mustang ones may be possible with them being hardtops ... http://www.cjponyparts.com/tmi-headliner-kit-molded-one-piece-unisuede-coupe-1967-1968/p/HL52-V/
Anybody know a price on when they do come out? I'm hoping to buy a couple sets if they're just like factory
No, I do not know for sure what the pricing will be. Keep in mind when items first hit the market they are usually priced fairly high. I was told during my initial meetings with the VP of Distinctive Industries that pricing "could" be around $400 for a pair. This of course was before any work was done on tooling, patterns etc..... so at this point it will be anybodys guess until the panels are released.
