3 on the tree to the floor?

    I'm having a hard time finding any relevant info... 71 mav with a 170 six, I want to convert to floor shift. Literally all info on what i need to buy and tips on doing it are welcome! thanks!

    Matt- I have a good manual 3 speed as well as complete shifter from the factory that I will sell. My 71 was a factory floor shift and I am converting to a 5 speed.

    The Hurst Indy universal 3 speed shifter fit just about anything - I once took one out of a Plymouth Duster and put it in a Chevy Van

    I used a Mr. Gasket floor shift conversion kit that I ordered from the 'Zone back in the day. Worked well. Had to cut a hole in the tranny tunnel, but, the shifter boot covered it.
