I noticed the windows of my car had moisture in them and opened the car to find some watery liquid dripping from under the dash on the passenger side of the car. Can anyone identify what's happening and how to fix it.
Yes, Take a 5 gal bucket and pour it through your cowl on the outside. I would also put newspaper up as high as you can under the dash first so you can see where the leak is. I would suspect that your inside cowl is rusty and leaking around the top hats. There are some threads here on repairing/ or replacing the cowl if you do a search here for that topic.
I did mine but it was heat only box, there is a tech article on it idk how much harder the a/c box is to remove from under the dash
Also if anyone can point me in the direction to find a heater box seal I would really appreciate it I found a heater core but I cannot find the heater box seal anywhere.
The heat only is the same as a mustang 69-70, but autokrafters lists the a/c heater core is the same as 67-73 mustang so this http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-68-FOR...Parts_Accessories&hash=item58bca4ec91&vxp=mtr might work
Try dumping a 5 gal bucket of water first down the louvers by the wiper arms. That will rule out the worst thing right away. Yes a windshield gasket can cause that too but do this first.
You won't see the rust in the cowl usually. it is impossible to see in there w/o removing the cowl. If you are sure it is anti freeze then it is your heater core.
I found it after doing some testing spraying water on the car. Its the door gasket on the passenger side. When I sprayed it with the water hose it started dripping in the car from the passenger door. I guess I need a new seal.
