I received my Mustang floor pan for the left front, I swear they give a group of kids some sheet metal and hammers to make these.

Maybe I had better check mine Rick. I have a complete left side floor pan in the box.

Mel, to be honest, it looks like these are made with a bead roller and not stamped. It's really total garbage but who's going to see it once I hack it up, weld it in and cover it with carpet? I'm glad I didn't order it for a high end Mustang restoration!

Oh, wow! I pulled mine from the box and it is stamped. I wonder who on earth produced that one?

There's a tag on it,I'll have to look. I had my wife order it on Anazon since she was order some stuff. It was cheap (obviously:biglaugh:) and for all I need it works but I am going to post a review on it.

Fabricated and welded up my first shock tower modification. Been wanting to move them for over 20 years. LOL.
Came out pretty good I think. Started on the other side, maybe I can get it put together this weekend!
Test fitted the motor to see about clearances. Makes pretty good header room for the 351. The 347 motor should be a breeze to install! 20150117_115736.jpg 20150117_170237.jpg 20150117_170225.jpg 20150117_142633.jpg

Fixed a illusive gas leak on the new(well almost) Holley carb, after replacing bowl and metering block gaskets, it still leaked... Turned out the machining is a little deep on the lower left bowl bolt hole, adding a second bolt to bowl gasket fixed it...

This is Calypso Coral otherwise known as Home on the Orange or Vermillion (Ford M1730A). I had a long post on this in spring of last year that started with the picture below. This is a single stage PPG Delfleet Evolution color match for the underside. I will use PPG 2 stage for the outer paint next month. I can tell you I thought the Calypso Coral was too red based on pictures I have seen, but now I am glad I chose it. It is more orange than I anticipated, however sunlight really changes it towards red.

Drilled new holes in my plastic driver's side fresh air vent to align with my '73+ cowl, and installed said vent.

I installed 4.11 gears with a mini spool today. I also added a drain plug to the 8" rear end. Going to install the cal tracs and rear end back into the car tomarrow.

Same here. Took my spare 8" center section to "the old man" for installation of new Motive 3.80 gears and a Traction Loc.
