Hi, I haven't visited here for several years. I had my 1973 Grabber repainted with new decals and stripes last year. I exhibited her in indoor exhibit in the May 2014 Good Guys Get Together in Pleasanton, CA. I live about 10 miles north of Pleasanton. Driving out I saw another yellow and black Grabber just like mine but not newly painted. I nodded to the guy, but he ignored me. I don't know why. If he's from Pleasanton or nearby, there's another yellow and black 1973 Grabber around here too. I've seen other Mavericks and Comets in this area but that's the only other one that looks like my car. Roz
I wondered why it sticks out so much. Is that original to 1973 or was that added by a previous owner? I want to keep the car original and I know the rear bumpers were enlarged in 1974. I thought the front bumpers might have been in 1973. Roz
That was my car that you saw in Pleasanton I saw you drive by I think I was loading my twins otherwise I thought I nodded back. I saw your car in the indoor display, looked very good and original. I live in San Jose and try to goto every goodguys event I can you can likely find my car on the autocross track when they have it.
I guess Yellow Comets deserve honorable mention... I have apparently gathered a reputation of finding a lot of Yellow Mavericks and Comets for sale on the interwebs and posting them in the Craigslist/E-Bay forum.
