Finally getting my fenders and quarters done. I've been putting it off for too long. Finallt got a new mig so things are getting done. Will start a progrees post this week sometime.

Was wondering, what is,a,good website to buy fiberglass parts. I'm getting tired of searching for sheetmetal. IMG_20150119_172341.jpg

In my opinion, you will not like the fit and finish of most fiberglass parts. If yours is a street car...you will want metal.

I like what you did with the hood! Where are you at and what are you looking for? If we knew where you are there may be someone close by with what you need.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I'm in Nashville Tennessee. I'm looking for the 70-72 front and rear pumpers and gravel pans. I've found several donor cars but they've all either been robbed or are the wrong year. @RMiller thanks! It was hitting the carbs so cut it and scabbed in some sheet metal and finished it up with a little body filler and made it a small cowl hood!

Nice work on the front fenders and hood - I agree on keeping it metal - I bought a lot of rust free parts from Rick Brooks in Texas for my 70 :thumbs2:

You could try here http://www.dvap.com/ not sure of the cost of parts or shipping, but it looks as if they have what you need a couple times over. http://www.dvap.com/salvage/1970-ford-maverick-70fo1154b/

Plus you will need to notch those finders for the small bumper mod...

Edit: Just sent them a request for price and shipping, will let you know the outcome...

Edit #2: Just got a reply from them and it was 225.00 for the bumper with all brakets...

Those boneheads (DVAP) should do one of their "high end restorations" on that black car and save it, looks like it could be a decent car. Still has the spoiler on it too.
