    Stefan,

Recently I have seen a few of the earlier comets visiting this site. I personally think that kix a$$. I like those cars. I was wondering if we could maybe give them thier own forum so they have a place to call home. Just an idea and totally up to you and everybody else. Lets face it they aren't exactly the "fit" in car like the mustang or Fairlane. So far the guys that have popped in seem real nice. Besides the more "Supporting Members" you get will only beneifit us all.

I have a buddy in the middle of restoring his 2nd '65 Cyclone.
There is really nothing in common with our yr. models other
than drivetrain, the name and Maverick/Granada discs will
bolt on to a '73 Comet as well as a '65.

    They are beautiful cars.
I bought some parts off of a guy for my '74 GT off of this

Lance, I want to keep the forum strictly for the 1970-1979 Maverick/Comet. This way there wont be conflicting info on what works with the 60s Comet and the 70s Comet.

Lots of the early Comet guys go to tffn.net

It's mostly a Falcon site but that is what the early Comet is.

Many have asked the Falcon Club of America (FCA), but they still wont accept them. Hence the name Falcon Club. Our So.Cal. Chapter has a few and we welcome them even if the Falcon national club segragates them at shows.

TFFN (Early model), this site and the MCCI are the only places a Comet (late model) owner can go that I'm aware of.

Anyone know of a Mercury site for these owners?

Just went to that site. Not to bad. The moderator for the small Ford message board is 69maverick.
