My bought this 70 maverick out of Ely Nevada earlier this year. Cars story is that it was a pro stock boss9 car. The guy I bought the car from couldn't confirm the story. I know the car lived in Vegas in the 90s. I was pointed to Mike Hoag of M&S welding but it turns out that he did not build the car. Front suspension has been moved out 2 inches on each side. The master cylinder was relocated under the dash, steering box recessed into the frame. Rear end is a Dana 60 with ladder bars and coil springs. Any input would be much appreciated. Take a look at the pics and see if you can help.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Wow, they notched the frame to install the steering box. I would like to know where the center link came from. Lots of tricks for sure!

Want to put the car b k the way it was in the 70s. Minus the boss or sohc motor... I don't have enough things to sell to buy one of them. But I need to get history before any of that can become a reality...

Google " Joe Spinelli Boss 429 " and see if you can contact him, he restored a Pro Stock Maverick already, and may have some information.
