Windshield molding clips

Does anyone know how many windshield molding clips there are for the windshield and back glass? 73 Mav

32 pins up front, minus 8 for the four stands (two pins per stand) = 24 Front

18 pins in the Back

 

Ok. What do you mean by "stands"? Are the "pins" the clips?

 

The pins are the little things welded to the body that the clips fasten to. The 'stands' are about 2-3" long and have two notches in them where they clip over two of the pins along the bottom of the front windshield. They support the weight of the window and keep it from falling down. My car had four, but some people report only having two. They do not require clips, they just hook over the pins by themselves.

 

Ok, Thanks for the info. One other question. Are the clips the same size for both front and back glass?
