Hey just finished my 8" axle swap on my 69.5.put heavy webbed 3rd member, new posi,380 ration gears, drum brakes, bearings, wheel vintiques 15x8 steelies,215-60-15.the wheels were 4 1/4 backspace had to trim the bump stops in fenderwells to get them to clear but fit nice.only other problem I ran into was driveshaft was too long had to shorten 1"

70maverick6er great work however, looking at your sideways and upside-down pictures using an Ipad is probably no big deal. It is a little more difficult having to rotate my cabled 20" monitor.

'Looks good. Your parking brake cables should be on top of the leafspring, not under it.

Hey,the axle is a 74 maverick 8 inch housing and axles with unknown year 3rd member but much heavier duty webbed casting than the 65 falcon one I was going to use.bolt in except the driveshaft.and thanks crazy Larry I will put them the correct way :)
