that looks like the same way I did mine. When I went to hook up bell crank was long enough to have the one inch clearance for the leaf spring. The way its looks to me is my bell crank isn't long enough. What size is yours.

I looked for the plans where I built them but can't find them. I have sold them so I don't have any way to measure...

Looks like I'm going to have to make bigger bellcranks I don't have enough clearance on my springs.I tried to put spacers under brackets under the rear end to drop it down but its not enough. The driveshaft Ford Motorsport IMG_20150502_121449461.jpg

My (real) Caltracs were like that, there was too much bow in the springs to get the bottom bar on. I removed a leaf on the spring pack and jacked up the rear axle, then everything fit. Calvert recommends soft springs and stiff shocks, so going to 3 leafs was good for me...

Nice work! The only problem I see would be the lack of adjustment. With my previous 400-500hp engines, my car liked the harder hit with the bars in the upper hole. Now , the car needs it to be on the lower hole. On the lower hole, the bars are pretty parallel with the ground. What times/ horsepower are you running?

These caltacs have made my car ride better and more stable around curves and at high speeds . Have'nt been to the track yet. will see what they and new Hoosiers 26/9 slicks will do.
