    You'll have to show me a picture of VIN plate showing engine code before I believe it's a orig V8 car... Only other possibility is someone swapped drums & brakes from a 6cyl(it's happened)..

    Sold the car 5 years ago.. How many pre 74 cars have you seen with 5 lugs that has factory v8 ?

    My '73 has 5-lugs with a factory V-8. So does every pre-74 factory V-8 Maverick I've ever seen.

    By '73 the 250 6cyl were getting five lug...

    By 1973 ALL Mavericks/Comets were 5-lug....no exceptions.

    Maybe I had left overs ..I had all original 4 lug v8 !! In not arguing this anymore lol. The car was odd but I did own it. Trust me I did not enjoy 4 wheel drum brakes. And I polished those centerlines by hand for hours upon hours till my hands felt like they were falling off !! If it was converted with that low of miles... Someone really liked stock.. Because that's all that was in there

    Probably the same as when people do the Brazilian shave ... Nothing !! Lol kind of like my lap belt only... There are only factory lap belts in my car wink wink :)

    Nothing in VA, if your backups don't work here, the bulbs and sockets can be removed and it'll pass state inspection...

    Also there is no emissions or inspections here in Colo/Nebraska !!

    A sedan is a 4 door, that'll be like saying a mustang or a corvette is a sedan, and it was an opinion when I said the sedans (4 door) looks better then the coupes (2 door)
