Hi, I'm new to the forum and in the process of restomodding a 1973 Maverick. I'm getting close to being able to put the interior back in and realized that I'm missing the part circled in the picture below on both sides.(not sure what to call it.. the piece that goes below the headliner behind the side panels..) I looked around online and and haven't been able to find them anywhere.

Anyway if anyone knew if they are reproduced or where to find them that would be great..

    Thanks, Zach

The 70-71 trim is made of metal...72-77 were plastic which the mounting pins break easily. I might have a metal set, let me look for them.

Zach, welcome. Where are you located?

I know where there are (metal) some in Spokane, you need both left and right side?

Nobody reproduces them. You will need to find used.

Thanks that would be great. The metal ones would still work fine on a 73 I'd assume, correct?

It will fit your '73 as long as it's a 2-door. PM sent.

I got metal ones for mine and still need to install them. The nice thing about metal is that the attachment pins break less easily, and that you can paint them to match your interior.
