Bought some new 1/4 window seals and tried installing them today and found that both seals are an inch short

Where did you get them? I know there is a member on here that was selling them but I also saw some on ebay but wasn't sure if they were his.

I stopped making these around Feb 2014, which is when they started showing up on eBay from another repopper.

Not sure it matters...but you have that one on the wrong side. It goes on the passenger side.

Why is it so hard for these guys to get stuff right? Almost every reproduced part I have bought for my car is horribly made, or a complete "no-fit"... That is aggravating!!

I bought Rusty's quarter window seals, and they went on like they were supposed to and have never leaked. I wish all of our parts fit that well (ie..carpets for early cars).

Dennis Carpenter makes these. I am sure if there was a problem....they would know about it by now. It could very well be that one set got out that was too short.

The Dennis Carpenter people are top notch. In fact one of their product guys does visit this site as he has a Maverick. I would send their CS department an email with a picture of the seal and see what they say.
