Well this sucks. Someone keyed my drivers front fender and hood. I have been trying to sell the car and had it sitting at my friends house for awhile today. While gone someone put two key scratches down the paint. What makes people do this? Now this makes it harder to sell, I have two people interested in it. But now this might affect their decision. Man, I have had no luck selling this car. Shake my head. Just wanted to vent!
Know how you feel : I had my Comet at a Local Car Show here in Deland , Florida and while I was talking to some others there a slimeball smashed in one of my headlights !! Other times, I've had nails placed under my tires that resulted in a flat tire later .. I would dearly love to find the dudes responsible for the damage .. I'd do something really "special" to them .. It's probably someone that is Jealous of your car and this somehow " evens" up their lack of success and brings you down to " their" level .. Sick .. but prevalent among custom car owners. Cometized (Chip)
I look at it this way, at least they didn't do anything to harm me. It is just a car and can be fixed. Still bugs me though. lol.
I am no longer surprised what dirt bags will do because you accomplished your dreams and they (for whatever reason) did not. I hope you can get the scratches buffed out?
the problem is parents of this generation thought there parents were too strict so there kids are lacking in respect and discipline theres a bunch of bad azz kids on my street that like to rub dirt on my car or try to open my doors or whatever and therye all little yet. these kids climb all over everyones cars and mom says nothing like its normal and dad is nowhere around sorry to hear this happened to you
scuzzbags ,I've had cars keyed windows shot out tires flattened my seat on my Pan was cut once across the back People are just plain jealous and have no respect for another's property I'd like to catch em JUST ONE TIME they would pay dearly
KARMA WILL GET THEIR @SS! You know a good smack on the rear end got my attention when I was a little turd, but you cant do that any more! Sad to hear of your damage.
We owned a 96 Mystic Cobra with the special paint that changes color and had the car keyed all the way around the entire car, to get the paint to have it repainted a rep from BASF had to come look at the car and verify that it was in fact an original Mystic Cobra and then just enough paint was provided to repaint the car. To this day they have still not released the paint for the general public to buy, there are some close matches to it but not exactly. I think that some people regret somebody that has things nicer than they will ever have, I feel your pain and disgust and am sorry it happened
My generation we went in circles trying to out run a belt...and it didn't have to be our parents striping our legs...lady up the street tore my butt up more than my mom did
I had my near new black work truck keyed right down one side while we were visiting friends, and it was parked in their driveway.
