Well this sucks. Someone keyed my drivers front fender and hood. I have been trying to sell the car and had it sitting at my friends house for awhile today. While gone someone put two key scratches down the paint. What makes people do this? Now this makes it harder to sell, I have two people interested in it. But now this might affect their decision. Man, I have had no luck selling this car. Shake my head.
    Just wanted to vent!

    Know how you feel :
I had my Comet at a Local Car Show here in Deland , Florida and while I was talking to some others there a slimeball smashed in one of my headlights !! Other times, I've had nails placed under my tires that resulted in a
flat tire later .. I would dearly love to find the dudes responsible for the damage .. I'd do something really "special"
to them .. It's probably someone that is Jealous of your car and this somehow " evens" up their lack of success and
brings you down to " their" level .. Sick .. but prevalent among custom car owners.

I look at it this way, at least they didn't do anything to harm me. It is just a car and can be fixed. Still bugs me though. lol.

I am no longer surprised what dirt bags will do because you accomplished your dreams and they (for whatever reason) did not. I hope you can get the scratches buffed out?

I wish they would buff out. Scratched to the metal. Ya, people these days are something else.

We owned a 96 Mystic Cobra with the special paint that changes color and had the car keyed all the way around the entire car, to get the paint to have it repainted a rep from BASF had to come look at the car and verify that it was in fact an original Mystic Cobra and then just enough paint was provided to repaint the car. To this day they have still not released the paint for the general public to buy, there are some close matches to it but not exactly.

I think that some people regret somebody that has things nicer than they will ever have, I feel your pain and disgust and am sorry it happened

I had my near new black work truck keyed right down one side while we were visiting friends, and it was parked in their driveway.
