Sorry to hear about that. There's assholes everywhere. Honestly though when I take a prized possession out, I don't let it get far from sight. I guess I don't trust most people and that's probably sad. Caught a guy sitting on my Shovelhead once, he ended up leaving with a black eye....

A few years ago we were at a car show and as we were leaving there was a beautiful bright yellow 1970 challenger in the car park with two teenage girls sitting right up on the hood while their boyfriends were taking photos, i would hate to have been them if the owner came out. whenever we take our two young boys to car shows they get a lecture before and during about how they can look but don't touch, unless they ask first.

This is why I dont paint any of my cars I dont want a cheap paint job but I dont want tp be pulling my hair out when I get a scratch/dent/keyed. Also patina is the hot new trend. I have had windows smashed, sideswiped, kicked in fenders, door locks messed with while parked on the street by my apartment I no longer park on the street. I feel your pain it is especially worse when you are trying to sell the car

My coworker has had the same problem with neighborhood kids climbing over cars parked in the street and general disrespect

Also while I was gone on vacation I had some punks lite off a fire extinguisher through the quarter window of my car, every surface was light yellow where it used to be black

See that's the difference are parents loved us enough to tune us up if we needed it until we ran right. Parents today want to be there kids best friend.
