Put a fresh coat of wax on it and loaded it on the trailer for the journey to Somerset, hopefully that will make the bugs come off easier. Heading out Sat. morning. It hasnt rained here in a month now its raining, go figure

Changed the fluid in my transmission, got the grounds all ran for my trunk mounted battery, and adjusted the front brakes.

So I the last few days put on my cal tracks and park brake cables and now have the drive shaft ready to go to the shop to get some work done . Still have to bleed the disk brakes on the back.

The old plastic holders on the tranny cooler gave way and cooler was sitting loose in front of the rad. Bought new Flexilite brand plastic mounting hardware and remounted the cooler with it's weight sitting on the frame. Had to get a 3 ft length of 3/8 " tranny cooler line to do that. Noticed the mechanic who must have installed the cooler did not flare the steel line when he cut it. I'll get around to that.

After a long wait, I'm back in the body shop again. I wish I was ready for the round-up in Washington PA, but not; maybe next year. Looking forward to this next phase. Thinking maybe road worthy in September! In shop again.jpg e road worthy in

Now that I got the oil cooler reinstalled properly I unpacked the fan shroud I bought from Dyent, gave it a final scrub and put two coats of VHT " Roll Bar and Chassis Paint" on it good for 250 F. Not sure why the marking department at VHT wanted to have a "Roll Bar" product but there you go for all you Roll Bar fans.
