Trunk Lid Width?

    I've tried several search terms with no luck, so I'll ask.

    I am curious as to the width of the trunk lid on a 2 door Maverick (same lid as a 4 door?). Does anybody know off hand or can someone lay a tape measure across their trunk?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    The 2-door trunk lid is NOT the same as a 4-door.

    The 4-dood trunk lid is 55-5/8" wide x 26-1/2 long...
    the 2-door trunk lid is 52-5/16" wide x 24-7/8" long.
    The shape between the two around the quarter extensions and everywhere else are two different animals
