auto locks

    anyone know how i can remove the lock or just keep it from locking my passenger side door all the time

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    so you have automatic locks on your door?


    if so you can disconnect the solenoid however the door wont lock either.

    Cut The Rod Going From The Actuator To The Latch, You Can Still Lock The Door Manually

    maybe i should restate that... you can still lock the door manually if you disconnect the solenoid as well.. and if you just disconnect the rod you still have the solenoid enganging...

    some of the newer systems i have a code within the remote to it only opens one door. but then again it depend which one you have.

    then again disconnecting or whatever kinda defeats the purpose of having automatic door dont you think?

    no no no no. its not electric. i have manual locks but the rod that comes out of the door is gone and everytime it shuts i have to pull the panel off to unlock it.

    You could put electric locks on.:D
