I did an archive search and didn't find the info needed. The driver side window regulator gear (the window crank attaches to it) is a bit worn when compared to the passenger side. I've never had a regulator out but I'm wondering if just the gear can be replaced? If so, where can I buy one? Everything else is in good condition. Thanks.

You will need to replace the regulator with a used regulator. The early Mavericks used different regulator than the later Mavericks, the holes in the glass were different locations, most years the regulator was bolted to the door and one year it was riveted to the door. When looking for parts ALWAYS state the year part that you're looking for and post a pic to lessen the chance of getting the wrong part. Maverick parts changed every year and sometimes twice a year...very, very few parts never changed

Rthomas, thanks for the info, exactly what I needed. The regulator is bolted in on my 74. That window goes up and down a couple of dozen times a year so I'll probably wait until it breaks and do the power window install!
