So this is my great grandmas car (she passed away but my grandma is giving it to me for free! It needs some serious restoration and a v8 swap lol but I remember driving it once when I was 18 or so (im 26 now) and loved the car. Even did a lil donut in the gravel hahah View attachment 100248 View attachment 100248
Find some doors and paint then to match, wash the thing too. It would look presentable then. My 71 looked exactly like that when I first bought it, but had the small bumpers, which would also make it look good. Nice project, keep it in the family.
from Atlantic Canada! Doors and such can be replaced relatively easy, but if it has any major rust underneath the car or in the cowl area, I'd be prepared to spend tons of money and time on it. If it were me, I'd get the car roadworthy as-is and then plan on a V8 swap and other modifications later. Good Luck, and please post more pics (interior, engine, etc)!
Welcome from Western Canada. We've seen worse! Try source some doors from Arizona or sunny California. The guys on this forum are seasoned experts so ask for opinions. Good luck! M.D.
from Northeastern Pennsylvania Looks like you have some moss growing there - wash it up real good and it will look 100% better
