It would be cool to modify the left side of the instrument cluster to have a tachometer in it. There is sort've that empty space thats not used for anything. Here's an edited I made to see how it would look. Has anyone done this before?

That might be pretty tough to do, but if you could pull it off it sure would be cool!

(gears are turning in my head right now.) I have a plan!
I won't steal your idea, but if you need help figuring out how to do this feel free to pm me.

I have not seen it done, but really like the idea and the look.

It would be a bit tougher than that to retain the use of the other gauges on the left.

The 69 Chevelle has a round pod that contains a tach, and all the usual gauges. about the same size a the Mav.

I think, and I may be wrong, but from the picture posted I assumed he's after a bone stock look using the original fuel gauge and indicator lights. Is that right?

I looked at doing that but my tach was too deep, would've had to butcher the circuit board on the back of the cluster.

Yah I would like to preserve everything on it and keep it looking stock.

I'm more interested in a stock look, but that looks cool! Where did you get that from?

I think Charlie did something similar with analog gauges.

I put a tach over there and I moved my fuel gauge down with my other gauges....
