Hey everybody! been a while since i posted. been busy with college and my studies. But i finally got my 71' 5.0L swap road worthy and took it down to LA for school. Couldnt have done it without all your help over the last couple years. Now.. on to my problem.

So ill just lay out all the symptoms:
    • Headlights flicker on and off, sometimes go off altogether and dont turn back on
    • interior lights (and dashboard lights) flicker
    • Engine seems to miss at times with the light flickers however it is not 100% consistent
    • Turn signals/hazard lights do not work if my headlight switch is on
    • Also i had to jump start my car today (need to get battery tested)

Heres what you might need to know about my car:
    • 130 w alternator i think? (maybe 90)
    • battery and alternator tested 2 months ago and seemed fine
    • corrosion around the battery terminals (need to be cleaned i know :( )
A lot of the other posts with people having similar issues are almost always a grounding issue. I dont know how to test/fix this. any help would be appreciated! thanks everyone for your time!

Make sure you have a good ground from the battery to the engine block. And ground between the engine block and body.

Make sure you wires next to the master cylinder are pushed into the block all the way an not loose.
