    They were taking a buddies three seater truck as well...

    With other posts he's made since this thread, I doubt the Mav has gotten very far...

    14 PEOPLE 2 CARS ? man you all must really like each other how are you gonna cram every one's stuff in the cars plus all the spare junk ? a road trip with 4 people gets on my nerves Good Luck

    Everyone posting forgot to mention new rear springs. 40 year old leafs don't do well, especially when they were pretty lightweight to begin with.

    In my Comet on Power Tour .... me driving, my wife riding shotgun, and my 220 lb buddy in the back seat, plus a moderate amount of luggage (only 3 days worth) ... my poor Comet was draggin' ass.

    I just put my rear seat back in the Mav this week in preparation for Cruisin the Coast in Biloxi. I forget how much room the seat alone takes up. Its going to drive me nuts having anyone sit back there. It really changes the balance of the car.
