Not the fastest but I bet you had fun and that's all that matters. Any time you can drive it back home or back on the trailer is a good day in my book.

I went just to get base line and to see what car weighed 100% stock. The plan is to half the stock ET. Also wife looked up 1971 times for my car and they state 19.25. I ran a 19.26 19.24 and a 19.19. So car is in pretty good condition.

Hey, I beat on my old 72 Grabber 200 I6 for years at the track, recording blistering low 18's. Always got me home and taught me how to drag race consistently. The only negative affect was to the fans that were driven to the concession stands in droves when I was staging. All the greasy food and stuff.

I learned to drive in a 71 grabber with a 250 6 cyl that was our family car. Learned to race with that car too. It was sporty looking but slow. Definitely fueled my passion for wanting to go faster and my love for Mavericks.;)
