Reverse Light Wiring Auto to T5

    hi so i did a conversion from I6 auto to 302 manual on my '74 Comet. This totally diddnt even cross my mind but how do i wire the reverse lights?? so they turn on automatically? or am i gonna have to wire them to a switch? thanks in advance!

    The switch is on the t5. Disconnect you reverse light switch and NSS at the column and firewall and run the wires to the transmission.

    You can buy a wiring harness from NPD, and adapt it .

    Got my T5 and will be installing it soon..... does it matter which wire goes to what side on the T5? currently I have the reverse light wired to a switch, and just turn them on when i back-up, sometimes i for get to turn them off..... i guess that way guys always want to race..... LOL

    Polarity isn't important, even factory plug will connect in either direction...
