    It's amazing how long some batteries last, we have an electric forklift at work and the battery is just over 20 years old.

    AFAIK no '70s Ford used a grey painted engine, that's a '80s thing, as is the dipstick in block...

    A '70s front sump 302 should have dipstick in timing cover, rear sump engines have stick in driver side pan or block...

    Yes it does use all the original pieces. A little harder to get things aligned than with stock sheet metal though. Took a few hours of making adjustments but it fits nice.

    A 76 Mustang wouldn't be a front sump.

    ok so I guess it was put in the 76 mustang some time later in its life...casting number shows it to be a 1980

    oh well it was still free

    Interesting, I thought those cars were rear or double sump. Wouldn't be the first time I spoke out of turn!:beerchug:
