Been there, done that. My latest Mav wasnt even in my thoughts at the time I was building my 63 fairlane wagon, then all of a sudden, I NEEDED another Maverick:slap:. Guess what....the fairlane is STILL in line waiting to get finished.

The bottom is when I pulled it out of its 19 year indoor hibernation. Top is of it last year. Now back apart heading for final primer and paint soon.

Picked up as a rolling chassis, engine, trans, wiring, body work, paint and cage took 6 months to complete.

Bought my Maverick when I was 16 as a first car in April of 2012, but did not drive it daily until the beginning of 2015. First picture is the day after I bought it and last picture I took today. It was a great first car to get hands on experience. It needed both interior and engine work done as well, so every summer or break I would work on it and spend any money I had. Bought it for 1600 with my own money and worked on every inch except for some roof repair and paint. A lot of help and items came from this forum which helps a ton too.
